Our commitment and passion to bringing you quality affordable food has evolved from many years of culinary experience. Using the freshest ingredients we offer scintillating flavours with every bite. We're passionate about our ingredients, sourcing the freshest and most natural from suppliers, ‘local’ when possible, and who reflect similar food values and nutritive philosophies. ‘Mezzadellas Woodfired Pizza’ is the result of a strong work ethic and the evolution of some foodies’ wanting to contribute their part to healthy, wholesome eating. Our creative team, full of culinary forces, combine to develop an evolving menu of colourful ideas to excite the palate based on simple, delicious, fresh food. Our passion is always on the move, as is the menu, which will bring new ideas to it regularly, and expressed in the flavours offered.

 
 

John and Mez

Owner John Dellas, a baker and pastry chef by trade, has been refining his skills for roughly 25 years. Catching a bit of the travel bug earlier on in life and making strides to reconnect with his Greek heritage (it’s this part of his background that allows him to be lovingly known as “Nikos”), he spent time in Greece, London, and Ireland. After returning home to Australia he decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship, co-opening a bakery on the south coast in 2004. His partner, Marie St-Germain, comes from the world of woodfire pizza making. ‘Mez’ came to Australia from Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1999 on a working holiday visa and in 2006 co-opened a successful woodfired pizza restaurant on the south coast. Their forces now combine to bring 'Mezza' and 'Dellas'
